Head Receptionist Position

The Palm Beach Hotel & Bungalows would like to invite candidates interested for the position of Head Receptionist. The scope and general purpose of the job is to assist the Front Office Manager in ensuring that the Hotel Accommodation is let to  maximum occupancy, maintaining customer satisfaction, and a high standard of service to all guests in accordance with the Company Standard.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To assist the Front Office Manager in supervising the efficient operation of the Department.
• To assist Sales Promotion by keeping good relations with Travel Agencies, Clients and Booking Agencies
• To assist the Front Office Manager in ensuring that all staff receive On-Job-Training and have the necessary skills to carry out their duties with the maximum efficiency.
• To be responsible for all Front Office and Hall Porters staff and supervise their conduct, discipline and performance of duties.
• To be able to represent the Front Office Manager in his absence.
• To train all Front Office staff to answer questions of touristic nature. 

Desired Skills / Qualifications:

• University/College graduate with Hospitality qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a 4* Hotel
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language
• Knowledge of German and/or Russian Language will be considered an advantage
• Computer literacy and proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in using Hospitality management systems (Theova or Opera etc.)
• Pleasant personality with exceptional communication and managerial skills and strong problem-solving abilities
• EU Citizen or EU Work Permit Holder
