CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most highly regarded and well-respected Law Firms, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Lawyer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As part of your role you will support Clients on a wide range of legal matters that include Commercial, Intellectual Property and Employment law. You will need to be a Cyprus and/or UK qualified lawyer, with a strong academic background ideally gained from a highly reputable University. Our client is seeking applicants with approximately 3-7 years of post-qualification experience in Commercial & Corporate Law who are looking to advance their careers within a highly dynamic and vibrant legal firm. Applicants with exposure and interest in legal matters relating to Banking, Financial Services, GDPR, Energy and/or Technology are also encouraged to apply.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Providing legal services to clients in the areas of Commercial, Intellectual Property & Employment Law.
• Liaising directly with clients, building and maintaining strong client relations.
• Providing high quality legal advice and handling of legal issues pertaining to the firm’s clients.
• Gaining exposure in legal matters relating to Banking, Financial Services, GDPR, Energy and/or Technology.
• Promoting the firm and taking part in business development initiatives where appropriate.
• Liaising with leading international law firms.
• Attending meetings with clients, professional seminars and networking conferences in Cyprus and abroad.
• Mentoring and supporting less experienced members of the legal team.

Key Skills/Experience:

• LLB and/or LLM from a reputable University with strong academic performance (please state grades on CV).
• Cyprus and/or UK Qualified Barrister/Solicitor.
• 3-7 years of post-qualification experience in Commercial & Corporate Law is essential.
• Knowledge and experience of Commercial, IP and/or Employment law is required.
• Any prior experience with legal matters relating to Banking, Financial Services, GDPR, Energy and/or Technology is desirable.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional organisational skills.
• Fast learner, self-motivated and career-driven individual.
