CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a very well-established and highly respected International Information Technology company with regional offices in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a QA Engineer to join their expanding team of professionals in Nicosia. The successful applicant must possess 3+ years of experience in software testing. Excellent communication skills in English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Providing functional and regression testing in different projects.
• Development and maintenance of automated regression tests.
• Development and maintenance of existing test automation framework.
• Bug tracking in the Jira system.
• Optimization of test documentation.
• Design and implementation test strategy for company's internal tools.
• Configuring and monitoring the execution of autotests in CI (Jenkins, TeamCity).
• Design and implementation test strategy for performance testing.
• Testing tasks estimation.
• Consultation and training of other employees both inside the QA team and outside it.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Strong educational background in Information Technology or Mathematics. A degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in software testing.
• Knowledge of testing theory and practical testing skills.
• Knowledge of one or several programming languages (Java /C++, C#, Groovy, Python) at the level required for test automation.
• Experience with build tools (maven / gradle / bat / sh / ant).
• Experience with CI systems (TeamCity / Jenkins / Hudson / etc.).
• OS Windows / Linux at the user level.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including to communicate technical ideas clearly effectively and convincingly.
• Ability to work in teams and with people of varying abilities and backgrounds.
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and correctly.
• Able to troubleshoot and identify technical issues quickly.
• Would be considered an advantage:
  • Experience with Oracle.
  • Experience in organizing automated testing of technically complex solutions.
  • Experience with testNg / junit test frameworks, Selenium WD / SE libraries.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter / LoadRunner / etc.).
