POSITION SUMMARY:

The Attendant, Store Room is responsible for delivering a quality customer service experience through the proper and accurate daily restocking, disruption replenishment of Guestroom linen and amenities in the Housekeeping pantries in accordance to the company’s standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains knowledge of the Hotel and guest rooms including facilities, restocking requirements and operations to ensure that guest comfort and satisfaction are met
  • Ensures and maintains that all Guestroom trolleys are complete, well stocked and neatly arranged. Report out of stock item/s to supervisor
  • Replenishes amenities in Ras trolleys. Follows strictly color coding of totes for each item and accurately replenish supplies according to t designated trolleys of the items
  • Replenishes all Mobile Suppliers in the floor pantries with linen based on the floor requirements and floor configuration
  • Delivers needed linen as requested by the floor staff
  • Handles Guestroom Trolley and Housekeeping equipment with utmost care
  • Ensures that linen parts are kept adequately and constantly monitors supply of linen
  • Reports damaged and/or abused guestroom trolley, linen, amenities or any other items to supervisor in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reports and turns in all Lost and Found items as per Hotel’s policies and procedures
  • Participates actively in Health and Safety requirements to ensure the safety of our staff and our patrons are valued
  • Seeks to develop a trusting relationship and working rapport with other team members and ensures a positive approach towards work
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the working areas ensuring they are clean and free of risks including using appropriate cautionary signage to alert guest and fellow staff of potential risks as required
  • Prepares and assists in the inventory process
  • Liaises with Laundry for needed linen
  • Adheres strictly to the rules and regulations covering supply and lien storerooms
  • Remains capable to perform repetitious duties
  • Adheres to all Company policies and procedures
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • At least 1 year working experience of similar position

Education

  • Preferably college graduate or its equivalent
