CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a privately owned Group of Companies that provide a full range of marketing related services to a wide range of clients across various geographical locations, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Manager to join their growing team based in Paphos. Leading an existing team of high performing sales representatives, the successful applicant will oversee the sales and business development function for our client, ultimately ensuring that revenue targets are met and ideally exceeded. You will need to possess proven experience in a relevant client-facing role, ideally with a strong track record of leading, mentoring and supporting less experienced team members. Previous experience in the marketing field will be considered a significant advantage, but not essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.
  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
  • Coordination of all marketing materials and brand marketing plans.
  • Training, scheduling, coaching, and managing sales teams to meet sales objectives.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by keeping regular contact, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
  • Accomplish sales human resource goals through normal managerial duties, such as recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching and the discipline of employees.
  • Identify trends and determine system improvements to achieve sales operational goals.
  • Develop field sales action plans and advertising to accomplish marketing and sales goals.
  • Identify different consumer requirements to properly identify marketing opportunities.
  • Research and capitalize on different marketing opportunities to improve product marketability and profitability.
  • Anticipate new opportunities to maintain relationship with important clients.
  • Collaborate with other managers and key employees in sales and marketing department to achieve important goals.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Manager, consistently meeting and ideally exceeding targets.
  • Committed to continuous professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to execution.
  • Experience in Marketing or related fields will be considered a plus.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Computer literacy across multiple sales and marketing related programs.
  • Strong data & analytical skills required.
