Software Developer (MR/VR)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a dynamic tech company looking for a computer scientist who is passionate about mixed reality environments and product development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating mixed reality environments and managing product development processes. It will be beneficial if he/she can combine hardware with mixed and virtual reality, such as haptic interfaces, and has experience in hardware development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop mixed reality environments and products that are user-friendly, innovative, and aligned with our business objectives.
• Manage the full product development cycle from concept to launch, including requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, and final release.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers, to ensure the successful delivery of mixed reality products.
• Incorporate user feedback and market trends into product development, ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate haptic interfaces and other hardware components into mixed reality products.
• Haptic feedback: utilize smart-devices’ and PCs’ API/android programming to control actuators and read sensors as required.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• PhD is an advantage.
• Strong experience creating mixed reality environments and managing product development.
• Experience in hardware development and knowledge of haptic interfaces is a strong advantage.
• Strong coding skills in multiple programming languages, including C++, Java, and Python.
• Experience working with smartphone APIs and Android programming is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
