Competitive Intelligence Analyst – Cyprus

The Role:

We are looking for a passionate individual to join our newly established Competitive Intelligence team. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams across the organisation to gather, contextualise and deliver competitive intelligence insights.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Conduct market assessments to provide useful insights, produce reports and present actionable recommendations
• Perform ongoing tracking and analysis of key competitors’ characteristics and emerging competitive threats and trends
• Observe social networks and product review-sites and provide information on customers’ attitudes towards competitors and products
• Track advertising or news of product launches in industry publications and provide analysts with information on competitors’ marketing activities
• Liaise with other departments to obtain or provide additional/supportive information.
• Collect information, create databases, reports and presentations that provide strategic recommendations to their company's key stakeholders

Main requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Experience in a similar position in a financial services organisation will be considered an advantage
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• High level of ethics, integrity, and transparency
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Fluency in English
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel)
