Our client who has a prominent presence within the Banking industry, seeks to hire a sharp Credit Risk Analyst to its team in Nicosia. 

The Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for the development and operation of quantitative models for measurement, monitoring and management of credit risk and the preparation of relevant reports.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Research and acquire credit related data for weekly and monthly reports.
  • Development of credit risk models for impairment calculation, credit rating and forecasting.
  • Preparation of regulatory reporting requirements and reporting on credit risk related matters on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Preparation of specifications for the automation of reports and management of development process in cooperation with Business and IT units.
  • Execution of appropriate stress tests in relation to credit risk.
  • Suggesting solutions and taking action for maintaining various KPIs at the desired levels.
  • Involvement in risk related ad hoc projects.

Candidate Profile: 

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a related field
  • Experience in Risk Analysis 
  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Risk Management or a relevant field
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office software (especially Excel) 
  • Knowledge of Matlab or other Programming language
  • Knowledge of SAS or relevant software packages - will be considered as an advantage
  • Good knowledge of the Risk Management Framework.
  • Excellent awareness and understanding of the banking environment, the economy and the overall local market
  • Fluent in both Greek and English
  • Resourceful with strong problem solving skills
  • Sharp with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
