As a Java Software Developer/Cloud Engineer you will be part of a young and growing team in Nicosia engineering cloud solutions that we offer to our customers. You will work mostly around solution design and hands-on programming of our products /custom projects for our customers internationally. You will primarily focus on the back-end.

The PHILOSHOPIC products are Cloud Native frameworks delivering a range of solutions serving millions of transactions 24/7 around consumer engagement, digital commerce and modern payments in the Retail and Financial Services industries internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Object Oriented Programming - software development
• Meeting Product Roadmap Objectives
• Participate in daily Scrum meetings
• Engage in Solution/Feature analysis and design
• Engaging in Delivery of Customer Projects
• Documenting Requirements / Documenting Deliverables / Testing
• Engage in solution scoping and effort estimation for input to customer quotations
• Ensuring Customer Satisfaction of the Product Users
• Support and be supported by the team in a politics-free environment.

Key Prerequisites:

• Computer science or computer engineering degree
• Java proficiency and familiarity with other tools and technologies - more on the technical skills on the Job Description found on our website
• Ability to work on your own whilst being a TEAM player.
• Ability to manage tasks and deliver ON-TIME
• Fluent in English
• Reliability, integrity and high professional ethos
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
