Lead new product development projects for public funded R&D projects and client projects for major European manufacturers.

DUTIES

• Plan the work for new product development tasks
• Identify and fill knowledge gaps
• Provide technical leadership and guide the rest of the engineering team to identify solutions to challenging problems
• Monitor effort spent of project tasks and ensure that projects proceed according to budgets and timeframes

REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or engineering design
• Excellent knowledge of CAD
• Excellent command of English
• Demonstrated technical leadership
• Ability to work under tight timeframes and ability to handle technical challenges
• Ability to prepare technical reports, manage suppliers, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients
