Our Client a well-established company operating in FMCG industry representing a well-known international brand, is seeking to employ a professional specialized in Purchasing and Logistics.

Reporting directly to the Company’s General Manager the Job holder will have the responsibility of the Company’s Purchasing and Logistics operations. More specifically, the job holder will be responsible: 

• to conduct demand forecasting as per Sales budget and actual results and set the purchasing quantity requirements, as per item/code, taking into consideration the optimum stock level, the lead time of the products as well as the seasonal demands and offers that the company will launch
• To execute all order placements and coordinate with the corresponding contact person in each country ensuring that the products will reach their destination, which is the Cyprus Port within the agreed timeframe, at the right quantities and quality
• To ensure that all custom and bonded processes have been completed on time and make sure that all products will be transferred to the company’s warehouse on time eliminating unnecessary expenses for the company
• for the company’s Equipment Spare parts management which includes the stock management at the optimum level as per critical and non-critical equipment, the order placement and the supply of the technical department as per demand
• Work closely with the company’s SAP partner in order to set up and launch the corresponding SAP functions so that the department works at it most effective and efficient manner

The individual:

• University degree in Logistics, Mathematics, Financial Management, Statistics or any other relevant field
• At least 5 years of working experience in Logistics Field
• Strong Analytical, Numerical and Financial Modeling skills
• Strong planning and organizing skills as well as detail orientation and business acumen
• Very good Knowledge of Greek and English Language
• Experience with ERP will be considered as an advantage
