On behalf of our client, an IT Service provider for the Maritime Industry, we are looking to hire Senior Python Full Stack Developer for their offices in Limassol. For the specific position we need a Developer with knowledge and focus on Web development using Python for the backend.

Main responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, testing and validating web applications using Python for backend and SPA JavaScript frameworks

  • Taking part in the agile development full cycle of project development from Analysis, Design, Implementation, Review, Testing and finally Deploying

  • Taking part in the support process of our products and talk to customers to clarify and resolve issues

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in any related Software Development position

  • Excellent understanding of databases, SQL, OOP, web technologies and frameworks

  • Strong background and hands on experience in Python and Python frameworks such as Flask/Fast API/bottle

  • Strong background and hands on experience in web client technologies and front-end JavaScript Frameworks such as React/Angular/Ember

  • Ability to research technical issues and generate creative/innovative solutions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment utilizing good judgment and initiative

  • Strong Planning, organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

  • Shipping related experience and knowledge will be considered as an advantage
