Due to continuous growth, we are seeking to hire a Senior Risk Management Specialist to join our team. 


  • Keep abreast of regulations related to our business and ensure that directives and updates impacting the business are communicated.
  • Transpose regulatory and legal requirements in our internal operational policies, procedures, practices.
  • Resolve regulatory and Alternative Disputes or complaints.
  • Maintain oversight of Internal Security protocols, handling authorities’ requests.
  • Build and Apply risk profiling/assessment to accounts within our customer database.
  • Gather high quality reports to respond to respective authorities, department requests as needed.
  • Take ownership of record keeping by ensuring that regulatory risk records are securely logged.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc training sessions if required.

  • Support the team into taking better and more informed decision related to risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Propose new ideas to improve tools and processes linked to regulatory, risk and licensing requirements and address any irregularities. Strive for intelligent automation and proactively carry out occasional competitor analysis
  • Work on; and deliver department’s projects not directly related to the position’s main responsibilities.


  • 2 years of experience in a similar Risk & Compliance role, preferably within the financial, ecommerce, fintech or high-risk merchant category industry.
  • Background in legal, risk or compliance will be considered as advantage
  • Fluent in English is a must
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ambitious and displaying a keen willingness to learn.
  • Ability to coach and inspire.
  • Being able to work in a fast, ever-changing environment, with an agile approach.
  • Able to maintain cooperative relationships within the team, other departments and external providers.

Other skills:

  • The role requires high level organizational and communication skills with the requirement to deal as advisory person with stakeholders at all levels across the business as well as external providers and auditors.
  • Training and/or Coaching skills.
  • A motivated self-starter.
  • Meticulous, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive thinker who is able to bring new ideas to the role.
  • Ability to work well with others and be a team-player.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Very good communication skills (Written & Verbal) in English.
  • At ease dealing with people from all levels in the business.
  • Ability to remain positive, upbeat, and motivational at all times.
