CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a Legal Firm established for almost 40 years with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their team. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for assisting with the internal and external accounting of the Firm. You should hold approximately 3+ years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience, ideally from the professional services or a related sector and be fluent in both Greek and English. Any knowledge of the E-Soft accounting software will be considered an advantage, but not essential. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Maintain complete, accurate and up to date accounting records.
• Perform bank, payable’s and receivable’s reconciliations.
• Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES reports.
• Responsible for both internal and external accounting.
• Handling a portfolio of predominantly holdings companies.
• Communicating with local authorities when needed.
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and requested documentation.
• Meet deadlines through high quality of work.

 Key Skills/Experience: 

• Approximately 3+ years of relevant accounting / bookkeeping experience is a must.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of E-Soft will be considered as advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team.
