CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a truly global provider of Accounting, Audit, and related Professional Services, we are seeking to recruit VAT Consultants to join their growing teams based in either Nicosia or Limassol. The successful candidates will ideally hold a relevant academic background relating to Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. Our client is interested in candidates from Graduate Level, right up to 5+ years of relevant professional experience. Basic knowledge of VAT principles will be considered an advantage, but candidates with no VAT knowledge will also be considered provided that they have strong accounting knowledge. Fluency in Greek and English is a must. 

Role Overview:

The company is looking for passionate and highly motivated individuals to join their team and be part of our rapidly growing VAT Compliance services team. You will have the opportunity to work both on international projects, collaborate closely with colleagues from the wider company network and clients from all over the world. You will become trained by experts in the VAT field, gain exposure to advanced technology and a wide range of development opportunities. The company will ensure you obtain in-depth knowledge of their cutting-edge methodologies and available technology and provide you with ongoing coaching and support to continually strengthen your acquired skills.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• Basic knowledge around VAT principles will be considered an advantage.
• Candidates with no VAT knowledge will also be considered provided that they have strong accounting knowledge.
• Graduate level and/or up to 5+ years of relevant experience will be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Greek.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner.
• Computer literate (MS Office, G-suite).
• Experience with Data Analytics tools will be considered an advantage.
