Our client, a world-leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, is looking for a Field service Engineer for its Cyprus activities.

The right candidate will be reporting to National Sales and Service Manager and be a part of the Compressors Technique Service Team

Key responsibilities:

• Promptly carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnoses and repairs on all company’s products at the customer site.
• Observe all equipment of the compressor room and whole installation
• Train customers in the general operations of their machine
• Support sales of spare parts, compressors, vacuums and contracts
• Specify and order spare parts for service orders
• Be in daily contact together with Service Planner to build an efficient daily and weekly plan visit schedule.
• Be aware of, and apply, Health and Safety regulations in the Service Centre and on site
• Apply good standards of engineering practice and company’s procedures at all times
• Provide Service Worksheets immediately after the finished works, and recommend required parts and follow up the delivery and repair
• Provide Time-sheets regularly according company’s requirements
• Maintain tools, test instruments and service car, in a good condition
• Attend all relevant training including e learning and be in close cooperation with the Technical Advisor to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Be responsible for the accuracy of the prepared documents; the accuracy of information sent to the third parties (customers, colleagues)
• Be responsible for keeping confidentiality of the documents and the data you have access to
• Follow up on the proper procedures for Quality Health and Safety and support the ISO coordinator
• Be aware of all the risks and take all precautions to avoid accident or incidents.
• Be very careful in checking that you have all the permits to work before going to a service job
• Knowledge of the LOTO (lock out tag out) for electrical appliances and LMRA (Last minute risk assessment) procedures
• Provide follow up and monthly report to Direct Manager or specific reports when requested.
• Provide a weekly update of the data in internal database (visits, all correspondence such as emails, letters, faxes, proposals, orders, etc.).
• Follow up the proper procedures for QHSE with the support of ISO coordinators
• Be aware of all the risks (driving) and take all precautions to avoid accidents or incidents. Respect local legislation at all times.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in technical service of industrial equipment preferably with compressors and/or vacuum pumps
• In problem solving of mechanical and electrical nature technical issues
• Commercial Experience in communicating and servicing different customers
• Knowledge of Industrial electrical applications
• Knowledge of Mechanics, electrical / electronic controls
• Knowledge of inverter systems and soft starter will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Compressed air product and applications knowledge and improvements
• Native speaker of Greek and good level of English language
• MS Office literate with emphasis in Outlook, Word, Excel
• Educational technical background in electrical engineering
• Strong customer focus, pro-active, and results-oriented
• Self-motivated, self-organized, energetic with high level of responsibility and loyalty
• Structured and practical aiming to solve daily issues, being capable to drive actions into positive end
• Willingness to follow procedures but open in creativity and innovation
• Expected to be able to work alone but should preserve and promote the team spirit, fairness and respect for all individuals in the organization.
