Communications Officer (Fixed-term Contract)

We are now seeking a well-qualified and motivated professional to join our team for the post of Communications Officer on a fixed-term contract, for a time period of 6 months, with the potential to be renewed.

Main Responsibilities:

• Creating and editing content in English and Greek for announcements/press releases, newsletters, social media, etc.
• Organise, administer, and support events such as graduation ceremonies, lectures, social events, etc.
• Co-administer and review digital channels of the Schools and programming (websites, newsletters and social media)
• Respond to enquiries on social media
• Assist marketing with editing and reviewing publications for the Schools and subsidiary partners
• Monitor and archive press material relating to Schools
• Administer filing (physical and electronic) for Communications office
• Assist with media and public relations both internally and externally
• Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos
• Support the compilation of data and analytics for monthly reporting

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Communications related fields such as journalism, marketing, public relations, social media, languages.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English with over 3 years of work experience in related post
• Time management skills and ability to prioritise
• Digital fluency with familiarity in MS suite, social media, Word Press, and/or other technology and software
• Excellent communications skills with a keen eye for detail
• The ability to perform duties independently, punctually and diligently
• Basic video editing and photography skills will be considered as an advantage
• Working daily hours, with flexibility pending events, as needed

The ideal candidates should be eligible to work in the European Union/ European Economic Area.
