CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Group of Companies with diverse business interests, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team based in either Paphos or Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for building and developing various KPI monitoring reports as well as preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports for Management. You will ideally hold an academic background relating to Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics or a related field and possess approximately 3+ years of Financial Analysis experience, ideally from an online industry. Holders of a professional accounting qualification such as the ACCA, ACA or CPA are encouraged to apply, although this is not essential. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Build develop and maintain KPIs monitoring reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Management.
• Identify discrepancies and provide meaningful insights to the Management.
• Undertake financial analysis/research and prepare reports for the Management.
• Utilisation of inhouse database to monitor failed transactions and optimise users’ successful payments - conversation rates.
• Suggesting and optimising payment services on all aspects including frontend and backend environment.
• Provide customer support on topics related to payments.
• Contact Market Research for potential collaborations with new Payment Providers and Electronic Money Institutions.
• Export and analyse transaction data.
• Assist in ad hoc requests.
• Reporting directly to Senior Management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• BSc/MSc in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Mathematics / Statistics or any other relevant field.
• Holder of a Professional Qualification: ACA / ACCA / CFA will be considered as an advantage.
• Approximately 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a company operating online, will be considered as an advantage.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets knowledge.
• High level of communication skills.
• Able to prioritise tasks, manage project time and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, well-organised and attentive to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (both verbal & in writing) - any other language will be considered as an advantage.
• Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast paced dynamic environment, with an ability to take initiative, solve problems and deliver results.
• Curious and innovative mindset easily adaptable to new challenges.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
