Duties

• Head up the company's risk function
• Stay up to date with latest Cyprus and EU legislation, rules and best practice in regards to risk management
• Monitor the company’s risk exposure (i.e. counterparty, trading etc.) and comment on these risks including dealing limits
• In-depth knowledge of corporate risk strategy and guidelines as well as local and EU regulations
• Ensure such policies are successfully communicated to all staff within the Cyprus office
• Educate senior management in understanding the regulatory risk requirements
• Analyse and prepare senior management reports
• Supervise periodic regulatory related reports and submissions, including but not limited to risk management report, COREP forms, Pillar I, Pillar II, and Pillar III
• Supervise and review ICAAP process
• Review the internal regulatory risk guidelines and ensure that the most appropriate KRIs and 'best practices' are in place for the company

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Law, Business, or any other relevant field
• At least 3 years of previous experience working in risk management
• CySEC Advanced certificate holder
• English language to business level
• Knowledge of risk management tools and techniques and their practical implementation
• Experience with Pilar 1, 2, and 3, COREP forms and ICAAP
• Ability to complete projects and reports on time
• Able to work independently and as part of the team
• Good communicator
• Analytical thinking and strong attention to details
