A successful design and build project management and development firm based in Limassol is looking to expand its operations and hire a BIM Manager to strengthen the design team. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in BIM, specifically in leading projects, production of building models, structuring asset information, reporting analytics, and current digital delivery methods. This will be a part-time, project based position.

Key Tasks:

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and guidance for BIM workflows
• Manage and convert to BIM format all incoming CAD drawings from the project consultants (Architect, Structural engineer, MEP etc)
• Attend project meetings to advise on BIM implementation
• Ensure any changes in practice or project standards are effectively communicated to the project teams and are implemented
• Ensure that all project BIM work complies with Roomzly and project BIM standards
• Set up new and ongoing projects BIM files (including linked model hierarchies, survey files, building models, CAD imports, shared coordinates, etc.)
• Troubleshoot project design challenges that may arise
• Perform QC review of BIM files for efficiency, accuracy, and conformance with contracts
• Communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders under the direction of the Project Engineer/Manager.
• Participate in coordination meetings to resolve model clashes
• Prepare project BIM models for issue
• Continually seek to identify opportunities to improve existing workflows or capabilities

Skills:

• Advanced proven knowledge of Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM authoring packages
• Experience with model federation and coordination
• Experience in delivering projects to BIM standards with relevant QA processes
• Familiarity with design applications such as Rhino
• Knowledge of programming with Revit API is beneficial

Desired Experience and Competencies:

• Degree in architecture, architectural technology, or another relevant subject
• Revit exam-based certification
• Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience with Revit and BIM concepts
• Experience in delivering projects to relevant BIM standards (ISO19650, etc.)
• Experience with mid and large-scale projects and teams
• Must be able to clearly articulate advanced concepts in a way that team members of all levels can understand
• A methodical approach to problem-solving is required
• Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize and balance workloads.
