American Medical Center / American Heart Institute is seeking a talented and driven individual to join our IT department, who will be responsible for assisting the IT Manager in maintaining the company’s IT systems (software, hardware, communication).

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing, replacing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, trading platforms and applications
• Diagnosing & solving hardware/software faults
• Performing routine audits of systems & software and resolving possible problems identified from the audit in cooperation with the IT Manager
• Administering the Company’s ticketing system and responding to staff’s requests in a timely manner
• Providing support and training to employees on IT related issues
• To assist the IT Manager with various projects or duties as and when required
• Any other ad-hoc IT related duties in the Nicosia and Limassol premises

Qualifications and requirements:

• A university degree (preferred) or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field is required.
• Previous experience of 3 years in a similar role will be an advantage
• Good working knowledge of Local Area Networks, TCP/IP, DNS and other Network Protocols
• Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Mac).
• Good working knowledge of desktop applications, e.g. MS Office
• Administration of Windows Servers including Active Directory, Virtual Servers
• Working with Managed Networks, VoIP telephony, Office Security
• Competence in different hardware and software, installing and configuring
•  Trouble Shooting experience
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate working in a multi-cultural, multi-denominational environment
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organisational skills.
• Attention to detail
