Due to continuous growth, we are seeking to hire a Risk & eCommerce Analyst to handle verifications and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities:
- Review accounts registrations and activities (financial and non-financial).
- Perform checks on established customers and request the relevant KYC documents based on determined customer risk level and internal procedures.
- Monitor activities across all channels to identify, assess and mitigate fraudulent behaviour and advertisement abuse. Act according to internal procedures with regards to transactions acceptance and account restrictions.
- Review, validate or deny transactions requests in a timely manner, via different payment methods offered, while following up any payment-related issues.
- Proactively and reactively conduct analysis to link unidentified transactions and accounts to known fraudulent activity.
- Assist in Sharing fraud trends to improve team knowledge and understanding of ongoing damaging patterns.
- Follow-up on payment-related issues, customer queries or potential fraud related escalation from Customer Service team and other departments in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in Registering, analysing and helping with representment of transaction disputes.
- Identify signs of risky activities and report them to the Risk and eCommerce Team according to the department policies and procedures.
- Remain updated with active advertisement campaigns and their vulnerabilities in order to prevent business losses.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly risk assessment reports upon Management request.
- According to internal policies, perform risk assessment and profile accounts to identify those that may require CDD and EDD.
- Reporting of urgent matters such as downtime and multi-user problems to third parties, line manager and Head of Department.
- Requesting assistance when unable to solve an issue and escalating where necessary.
- Always maintain internal and external communication at professional and high standards.
- Perform the assigned daily tasks to meet personal goals and set KPI requirements.
- Provide training on mastered subjects to the team members when requested.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Experience in Payment Providers will be considered as advantage
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Meticulous, takes initiative and possesses good analytical skills.
- Organised, efficient and looking to succeed within a results-driven team.
- Attention to details, inquisitive nature and confident in the decision making.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to motivate oneself in challenging conditions.
- Demonstrated willingness to constantly improve.
- Flexibility to work changing shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
