EY’s Accounting, Compliance & Reporting department (ACR) provides a wide range of integrated corporate compliance services assisting clients and their finance functions to comply with local regulations while at the same time focusing on their core business. Our services include amongst others Financial Statements preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, corporate secretarial and administrative support as well as customised corporate and personal services for private clients.

Our team, acting as the project manager and the single point of contact of the client in Cyprus, connects clients with other EY service lines and specialists like Tax (direct & indirect), legal, transaction support and advisory when necessary and also with other external stakeholders and service providers like the auditors, the Directors and Secretary, the banks and the local authorities.

As a senior member of the ACR team you will be offering professional services to clients around the world. You will work in an integrated manner and collaborate across all service lines in order to offer to clients complete service solutions. Our aim is that your work through a dedicated team of professionals will bring many advantages to our clients, to us and to you.

 

Your key responsibilities (based on experience):

  • Posting transactions in accounting software and maintaining accounting records based on information provided by the client.
  • Prepare management accounts, budgets and other financial reports required by clients.
  • Prepare IFRS compliant financial statements.
  • Establishment and set up of legal entities
  • Assisting the entity’s Directors and Secretary or other officers in ensuring that the company is compliant with the local requirements, including drafting Directors and Shareholders resolutions, Power of Attorneys and processing corporate changes at the Registrar of Companies.
  • Assist with several daily administrative tasks including processing incoming correspondence, legalisation of documents, typing documents requested on Company’s letterhead, issuance of invoices and executing other ad-hoc requests.
  • General administration of bank accounts such as creation of payment orders, maintaining of bank balances and overall supervision of bank accounts.
  • Prepare payroll calculations for clients on a monthly basis.

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Accounting and / or Finance or other related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a position with similar duties and responsibilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language.
  • Strong computer skills.
