CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Engineering services to clients across the world, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will hold an academic background in Quantity Surveying or a related Engineering field and ideally possess approximately 1+ year of experience within a similar role. Fluency in Greek & English is essential; knowledge of Arabic will be considered an advantage. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Receive requests for offers from clients and prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the client.
• Material selection / Assist in establishing client requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
• Design/draft drawings accordingly (if qualified)
• Gather all information required in preparing the offer i.e. material price, delivery time from suppliers and freight cost from forwarders
• Review and sign the offer
• Prepare and review the tender and ensure it meets the assigned deadline.
• File all the correspondence with the customer and quotations to the internal CRM/ERP system.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Engineering degree.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar position would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in drafting with AutoCAD 2D and 3D software will be considered an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Greek is a must, knowledge of Arabic will be considered an advantage.
• Very good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), willing to learn new software.
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding time management & able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Resourcefulness in solving problems and critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to determine appropriate levels of confidentiality for information in his/her possession.
• Maturity, strength of character and considerable professional capability and personal credibility.
• Excellent people skills with an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
• A high level of energy with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to travel internationally and domestically when required.
