F&B Assistant

The purpose of this role is to assist the F&B Manager, to manage the operations of the F&B Department, including staff control, planning maintenance of service standards in all outlets, promoting sales and profitability. Responding to guests and community needs. Contributing to maximize guests experience, ensuring the high standards of service.

Main Duties

  • Subsidise the F&B Manager in his absence, as well as the Bars and the Restaurant Managers if needed.

  • To ensure the mise-en-place is completed prior to the service of each outlet. To coordinate with Supervisors the Restaurants are adequately staffed to meet business demands.

  • To ensure that all F&B outlets are maintained always clean, especially during service.

  • To assist the F&B Manager to coordinate employees, in relation with their professional training and development. To hold regular sessions briefing staff about new activities, techniques in order to improve guest’s satisfaction.

  • Handle with skill and courtesy, any questions and complaints from customers. In case of a serious incident to inform the F&B Manager as soon as possible.

  • To ensure the existence of  health certificates and safe pass (covis) for all F&B Department staff, and keep them valid.

  • He has a thorough knowledge of the operation of services and products, of all F&B outlets (according to the hotel’s standard procedures).
