ABOUT THE JOB

Boutique Regulated Financial Services Company based in Limassol is currently looking for the lead IT Support Officer to join the team. If you want to work within a team of dynamic technically minded people, good career progression, we look forward to receiving your CV for this role.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure proper maintenance of computers peripherals, printer, internet & e-mail, security, data backup and recovery
• Installation, monitoring and maintenance of IT systems, networks, applications and servers, perform enhancements and upgrades
• Train and guide new users on using software, PC maintenance and troubleshoot
• Ensuring the smooth operation of all hardware and electronic equipment of the company
• Responding in a timely manner to service/network issues and requests
• Reviews vendor contracts and coordinates IT purchases (hardware, software and services)
• Participates in the documentation and implementation of policies and standard operating procedure
• Administering systems security by configuring, monitoring, and maintaining virus protection software
• Track vulnerabilities and patching status of all operating systems, applications, and systems
• Monitoring server software and hardware
• Maintenance of regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection and failover procedures

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
• At least 3 years of proven experience
• Experience with IT systems, networks, system security
• Good verbal and communication skills
• Good written and verbal English
