Trainee Qualified Person

Delorbis Pharmaceuticals Ltdinvites applications for the position of Quality Assurance Officer, Trainee Qualified Person based at our premises in Nicosia, CYPRUS.

Job Description: The Quality Assurance Officer will become a member of Delorbis Quality Assurance Department. In addition, she/he will undertake the required training in view of becoming a Qualified Person as per EU cGMP at Delorbis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To follow and maintain the quality system according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• To implement Delorbis Quality System in the context of major expansion projects.
• To liaise with the Production and Packaging units on the behalf of the QA Department.
• To perform suppliers’ on-site audits, locally and abroad.
• To evaluate and assess quality related deviations, complaints, OOS results and any other quality issue.
• To coordinate change control topics/procedures.
• To take part in the internal GMP-trainings.
• To take part in any training (external and internal) and required examination in view of becoming a Qualified Person at Delorbis.
• Other relevant QA duties as assigned by Delorbis QA Manager or/and Senior Manager of Quality Affairs.

Experience and Skills:

• A minimum of a master’s degree (or equivalent) in pharmacy, medicine, veterinary medicine, chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical technology or biology.
• Previous experience of at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the field of Quality Assurance or/and Quality Control.
• Extensive knowledge of the quality guidelines (Eudralex Volume 4, ICH, WHO etc.).
• Willingness to assume the responsibilities of a Qualified Person.
• Fluent in English.
