Financial Business Analyst, Nicosia – FBA/10/21

On behalf of an established and well respected association which not only strives to promote the industry’s collective positions and recommendations but also takes a leading role in influencing government insurance policies so that they best serve the real needs of the industry and the economy, wishes to employ a Financial Business Analyst.

The successful applicant will be responsible for monitoring, capturing, analysing and interpreting the developments and trends of the industry in Cyprus and overseas in order to provide accurate and timely information to the members of the association. Specifically, he/she will

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities

• follow the international and local news and prepare brief overviews of the industry for circulation to the members and for further study and utilization by the association
• gather information from all members for further analysis and presentation
• conduct ad-hoc studies related to the industry and the opportunities/threats arising the Cyprus market
• managing and monitoring of the members records ensuring that all annual subscriptions are timely settled
• prepare the association’s annual report and coordinate with external auditors to ensure that associations financial statements are prepared and submitted for review on time
• manage of the association’s Service Level Agreements in coordination with the association’s suppliers/vendors

Position’s Requirements

• University degree is Business Administration, Financial Management, Operations Science, Statistics, Mathematics or any other relevant field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in similar role with proven record on report writing and market news commentary
• Very good Analytical skills and critical thinking
• Very good Business Report Writing
• Very good knowledge on MS-Excel
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
• Ability to adhere to deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a closely knit team
• Written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills to ensure that the team’s goals and objectives are achieved
