On behalf of our client, a regulated Forex Company, we are currently looking for a Senior Accountant for their offices in Limassol.

Main Responsibilities:

• Performing and reviewing daily bookkeeping
• Assist and review the preparation of the daily and monthly cash flow reports for banks and PSP’s
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT reports
• Performing and reviewing monthly reconciliations of suppliers, customers, banks, and intercompany accounts
• Liaising with associates and external consultants
• Preparation of adhoc reports such as expense analysis and comparison reports
• Preparation of Management reports including TB, Income Statement and Balance Sheet
• Preparation of reports for external and internal auditors and regulatory obligations
• Any other management request related to the accounting department
• Preparation of the monthly Payroll reports

Requirements:

• Educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or ACCA partly qualified
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Strong command of written and spoken English is essential
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Previous experience with Cysec reports will be consider as an advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of the Financial Statements.
• Good knowledge of VAT
• Experience with accounting softwares; (Microsoft Dynamic (Navision) will be considered as an advantage.)
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure
• Ability to work effectively alone as well as part of a team
• Good communication Skills
• Attention to detail
