Team Odeon is creating a network of information websites to help students navigate through higher education options according to their needs.  Our goal is to offer a comprehensive, trustworthy, and easy-to-use knowledge base to anyone looking to start a degree or move into a new profession.

Following investments by Lighthouse Ventures and a small group of private equity investors from the performance marketing sector, Team Odeon recently raised €2 million in funding to be used to bring us closer to our goal. 

What will you do? 

You will be part of a small team, collaborating with content and design teams on content ideas we can pitch to websites and get featured. Your responsibilities will include researching and prospecting new websites for collaboration, maintaining and nurturing existing relationships and working together with our team to create placement opportunities within those sites. 

Other tasks you will do: 

• Using Ahrefs and advanced Google search techniques identify and create new link placement opportunities for your brands 

• Successfully pitching and getting link placement for our brands in desired websites and web assets 

• Driving the Offsite SEO strategy to acquire backlinks that positively impact organic rankings 

• Setup monitoring of acquired links and KPIs for outreach campaigns 

• Researching and identification of additional opportunities to increase your brand’s exposure on the internet 

• Regularly analyzing backlink profiles of competitors in order to seek link placement opportunities 

• Identifying influencers within the niche of the brand and create collaborations with them to secure exposure and links 

• Contacting influencers, journalists, website owners/admins, and others that may have an interest in working with your brands via email / twitter / Facebook / phone 

Who are we looking for? 

A mid to senior experienced colleague to help us establish, maintain and leverage relationships with partners and external relevant websites to generate placement opportunities for our brands. If you desire to develop professionally within the SEO area, the grid is your second name and you are passionate and creative about research and problem solving, read on.  

What do you have? 

• 3 years experience as an SEO outreach specialist or equivalent (SEO which was focused on offsite activities) 

• Previous experience with SEO Analysis tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google Analytics 

• SEO strategy knowledge and techniques 

• Knowledge in the digital marketing ecosystem (digital marketing channels, tools, and industry) 

• Full working proficiency in the English language
