We are currently looking to recruit a high caliber individual to join our Financial Risk Management team in Nicosia. The successful candidate as part of the existing advisory team of the Financial Risk Management Department will provide a wide range of advisory services to the Financial Services industry (e.g. Banks and Investment Firms).

The Opportunity:

  • Providing Basel IV Capital Adequacy services to banks (including preparation/review of Basel IV capital adequacy calculations and implementation of Basel IV impact studies)
  • Providing IFR/IFD Capital Adequacy services to investment firms (including preparation/review of IFR capital adequacy calculations and implementation of IFR/IFD impact studies)
  • Preparing and supporting ICAAP and ICARA Plan
  • Advising on the capital treatment of specified transactions
  • Assisting in setting up Basel IV or IFR/IFD processes within institutions
  • Carrying out research and development, knowledge management and client-handling

The Requirements:

  • University degree with a grade of 2:1 or equivalent in any of the following disciplines: Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Economics
  • Any relevant working experience in the Banking or Investment Services sector or in an advisory or audit firm will be considered as an advantage
  • Quantitative experience from a trading environment (e.g. Treasury, Dealing Room) will also be seen favorably
  • Knowledge of the Basel framework will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English
