CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a Telecommunications Company with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an Junior Accountant to join their expanding team of professionals. The successful applicant will ideally hold 6+ months of professional experience within a Bookkeeping and/or Accounting position and be willing to learn and develop under guidance. Excellent communication skills in English are a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• Assisting Accounting team with bookkeeping / accounting duties (training will be given).
• Performance of bank and other reconciliations.
• Invoice and billing system administration. 
• Maintain clients data/contract information updated.
• Assisting with recording of incoming and outgoing accounting transactions, including Invoices, credit notes and statements
• Intercompany reconciliations assistance.
• Assisting in general financial management and analysis.
• Ad-hoc reports as requested by management.

Key Skills/Experience:
 

• 6+ months experience within a accounting / finance position. 
• Accounting / Finance degree, or equivalent would be highly advantageous. 
• Fluency in English (Written & Spoken); any other language skills will be considered an advantage.
• Computer literate (Very good use of Microsoft Office Packages).
• Dynamic, results oriented individual, operating with speed and accuracy.
• Organisational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic team player.
• Flexible and willing to take up new challenges and opportunities.
