Our Nicosia Office is looking for an experienced Retail Commercial Officer.

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated Commercial professional to join our Merchandising department division. The successful candidate will report directly to the Management.

Tasks include:

• Oversee the operations of the Imports Department, and delegate the day-to-day office tasks and issues that may arise.
• Prepare and deliver various progress reports.
• Collate and format data images as part of the preparation prior to buying appointments.
• Provide guidance and assistance to the buying team with order placements.
• Assist in receiving and distributing new merchandise to other cities and stores.
• Liaise between other cities, store locations and overseas suppliers.
• Support the warehouse regarding merchandise and delivery issues.
• Manage the stock inventory and transfers to store locations.
• Work with the Company’s Accounts and Finance departments by preparing checkbook journal entries, checking invoices against purchase orders, and keeping accurate records of all office and store invoices.
• Follow up with all delivery of goods procedures, including shipment arrivals.
• Preparation and assistance of Marine insurance procedures
• Keep abreast of local market trends and conditions and provide relevant recommendations and support to the Directors.

Qualifications:

• University degree
• At least 3 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities, within the Fashion Retail industry
• Very good commercial awareness
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Computer literate
• Willingness to travel between the different store locations in Cyprus
• Very good knowledge of Greek and English.
