CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most long-established and highly respected Corporate Service providers, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be a full member of the ACCA/ACA and possess a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in either Client Accounting/Bookkeeping or Audit. Training will be provided to the successful candidate. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• Provide superior levels of client service to a portfolio of International Clients.
• Review and execution of agreements and transactions in terms of Accounting, Tax and VAT etc…
• Opening and operation of bank accounts, performing bank payments and transfers in Cyprus and abroad.
• Preparation of management accounts and financial statements for a variety of clients.
• Assisting with the Audit process – liaising with Auditors for year-end closure etc…
• Any other duties as required.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• Educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Law or related field.
• Full member of the ACCA/ACA.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally as a Client Accountant or Auditor within a Top 4 Firm.
• Excellent communication skills in English are a must.
• Able to prioritize, work to deadlines and oversee a multitude of tasks.
• Self-starter and able to work on own initiative.
• Exceptional team player.
• Proactive, professional, customer service oriented, with good organizational skills.
