Our Test Engineer focuses mainly on test execution and hands-on validation and certification of the software readiness. By performing this role, you will gain extensive knowledge of Amdocs Optima as well as an in depth understanding of testing methodologies, tools and lifecycle.

What will your job look like?

You will:

• Execute test procedures and/or scripts either manually or by automated tools. Track and report on the test execution in a timely manner with attention given to achieving a high level of quality.
• Gather and document the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage.
• Analyze reports discrepancies to determine the root cause and evaluate script failures at a high level.
• Compare and analyze system behavior vs. expected results/KPIs based on business and technical requirements. Identify issues, propose system improvements and perform repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues.
• Participate and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials
• Responsible for designing functional tests, keeping timelines and meeting deadlines

All you need is...

• University degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent
• Up to 3 years' of relevant experience
• Knowledge in Testing Automation will be an advantage (Selenium/Python or any UI testing tools)
• Familiarity with SQL and Unix
• Ability to write new Test Cases from Requirement Specifications and Detailed Designs
• An inherent attitude of looking for innovation and continuous improvement and demonstrating efficiency in all assigned tasks
• Ability to learn quickly, self-learner and quick implementer
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
