CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding CySEC Licensed Investment Firm with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join their team. The successful applicant will possess a minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience as a Compliance Officer within a regulated investment firm and will be a holder of the CySEC Advanced certification.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• Providing support to members of the compliance team to fulfil the group’s reporting obligations.
• Keeping up to date and following up with national and EU legal/regulatory developments.
• Review Marketing material for approval before posting.
• Performing reviews in accordance with the group compliance risk assessment and monitoring program to assess the group’s compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations.
• Implement the Compliance Monitoring Program by carrying out the compliance reviews and checks.
• Monitoring sales telephone calls for compliance with marketing regulations and preparing phone call inspection reports.
• Developing, designing and re-designing the appropriate procedures of the Company.
• Assist staff with AML/KYC related escalations.
• Provide reports as directed, to keep the Board and senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
• Assist in maintaining the accuracy of compliance records, tests, training materials, logs, correspondence, reports, procedures, forms, policies, programs, and manuals.
• Performing any other compliance-related tasks that may be assigned.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• Ideally educated to Degree Level in Law or related field.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role within the retail FX industry.
• Holder of the CySEC Advanced Certification.
• Highly organized, rigorous, methodical, and focused.
• Excellent knowledge of the English Language both written and oral.
• Phenomenal analytical ability, and a problem solver with the ability to think out of the box.
• Possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to work under pressure.
