The Position:
Emergo Wealth is looking for an Operations Officer, a motivated individual with excellent writing and analytical skills, able to work effectively in a multinational team environment. The Operations Officer have to be passionate about growth, applying new skills to assist and support the operations of their team in Nicosia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities includes:
Run and validate automated valuations on system on a daily basis
Document financial transactions by entering account information on system
Responsible for month-end and year-end closure process
Initiate and monitor automated daily processes on system and provide feedback for ongoing development
Ongoing reconciliation of bank balances /accruals/ interest calculation
Act as liaison with CySec, Central Bank of Cyprus, Custodian, brokers, banks, external/internal auditors and clients ensuring smooth business operations
Preparation of periodic, statutory and regulatory reporting as required by CySec, Central Bank of Cyprus and Registrar
Communicating with other departments of the Company to ensure smooth operation of the Company
Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Maths or Finance or Computer Science or Science-related field
Master's Degree in a related field preferred will be considered an advantage
Related work experience is not required but will be considered an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Excellent written and verbal communication
Basic programming will be considered an advantage
Detail-oriented
Analytical Thinking skills and problem solving
Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team (Teamwork and collaboration)
A positive "can do" attitude and a friendly, personable manner
Diligent and proactive
Location: The position is for the Client's offices in Nicosia
