On behalf of our client, an established and regulated (“CIF”) Cyprus Investment Firm in Nicosia, CX Financia is recruiting a Compliance and Anti Money Laundering Officer.

What You Will Be Doing

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Design and monitor anti-money laundering policies and procedures of the company in line with the CySEC regulatory requirements;
• Design and implement the training programs for AML & Compliance for the staff;
• Oversight of on-boarding of clients, ensuring proper monitoring of client transactions and activities;
• Review, approve, and monitor company marketing communication for compliance with regulations;
• Responsible for preparing regulatory reports to CySEC;
• Reports directly to BOD;
• Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele;
• Always up to date with regulatory requirements and guidelines and assisting with updating company procedures and policies where necessary to ensure continued compliance.

Who We Are Looking For

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Educational background in Law, Finance or a relevant subject;
• At least 2 years of experience working in Compliance Department under regulated firm (CySEC, ICPAC or BAR);
• CySEC AML Certificate will be considered an advantage;
• Experienced in working under pressure, shifting priorities and delegating tasks as new assignments and projects arise;
• Organised, focused and diligent;
• Willingness to learn and evolve in a fast-paced environment;
• Communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language;
• IT literal, with experience in word and data processing systems (LibreOffice, Microsoft Office etc.)
• Professionalism, work ethic, self-motivated and team player;
• Positive can-do attitude highly committed personality.
