Minthis is seeking to recruit a passionate, enthusiastic and highly-motivated professional Events Executive to join our highly growing team of people. The Events Executive will be responsible for all sales activities and events within Conference & Banquet sales for segments of corporate, association and groups’ tours & leisure, events, wedding sales administration. Handling all operations involved in organizing events and other functions taking place in the resort including their preparation in cooperation with F&B colleagues.
Location: Minthis, Paphos
Main Responsibilities:
- Full management of events from initial contact with customer until the final stage.
- Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities.
- Actively handles, negotiates and prepares company contracts for the resort’s corporate assigned accounts in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
- Develops customer accounts and to drive increase market/customer Promotes cross selling in the Conference and Banquets department.
- Create the events and groups proposals for clients.
- Personally handles all VIP events and meets with guests from major producers/organizers of big events to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Suggests and develops creative local marketing activities
- Attends Sales events as required.
- Produces accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads.
- Assist for the Monthly / Annual Revenue Report
- Participates in promotional events
- Managing & updating the database as required.
- Maintains and updates informative displays at the resort for news and upcoming events.
- Preparing weekly working schedules.
- Organizing and dealing with golf members events.
- Supervises and manages any additional sales activities required.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Business, Marketing or other related field
- At least 3-4 years of relevant work experience
- Fluency in English language both written and oral. Greek and Russian will be considered an advantage
- Excellent Computer Skills, MS Office, Internet & Outlook Express
- A pleasant personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
