CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established International Company with regional offices in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their expanding team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will ideally hold in excess of 5+ years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience and be fluent in both Greek and English. Any relevant accounting qualification including the LCCI Higher and/or CAT will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 

• Bookkeeping and preparation of accounting records in an efficient manner, within deadlines.
• Process bank payments and perform related administration tasks.
• Communication with Banking Institutions.     
• Support annual audits, by acting as a liaison.
• Work closely with the management and colleagues, by supporting them in related accounting tasks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, and company policies/ procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports.

 
Key Skills/Experience:
 

• High school certificate.
• Any formal Accounting/Finance degree is welcomed, but not essential. 
• At least 5-7+ years’ experience in a similar position is a must.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language (Written & Spoken).
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of accounting systems will be considered an advantage.
• CAT Qualification will be considered an advantage.
• LCCI Higher holders are also encouraged to apply.
