FINANCE MANAGER

THE COMPANY

On behalf of our client, an international investment company with a focus in the Real Estate sector, we are seeking to recruit a high calibre professional for the position of Finance Manager, for its newly established Cyprus-based entity.

THE POSITION

The successful candidate will report to the Shareholders of the Company and he/she will have the responsibility of overseeing and directing the finance function, as well as the setting up of the Cyprus Entity, whilst ensuring compliance, optimisation and efficiency.

More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst others:

• Lead and monitor the Company’s financial and accounting activities and ensure that they are in line with the strategic priorities of the Company
• Formulate the strategic and business plan in collaboration with the Company’s shareholders, and execute all related decisions
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management accounts and other financial reports, to ensure compliance with statutory, legal and regulatory requirements and timetables
• Review and analyse key ratios and other related financial data to measure profitability and identify possible areas of concern in order to take immediate action
• Liaise with shareholders in order to establish budgets and forecasts, ensure that these are met and take proactive action when necessary 
• Propose, lead and oversee the set-up, development and growth of the Company in order to optimize performance
• Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators according to the strategic objectives of the Company
• Identify and pursue business opportunities, for the purpose of achieving competitive advantage, expansion and growth
• Handle people management matters, such as hiring the key personnel of the Company, providing support and direction
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders in an effort to establish and develop strategic long-term relationships

 REQUIREMENTS 

• Professional Qualification (CFA, ACA, ACCA, CPA)
• University undergraduate degree (BA/BSc) and/or postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/MBA) in Business Administration, Economics, Financial Management or in any other field
• At least five (5) years of experience in a similar position, in a reputable organisation with multimillion euros worth of annual turnover, preferably in the real estate sector, investment funds or financial stock markets
• Strong entrepreneurial mind-set and orientation towards business development
• Impeccable negotiation, networking and representation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Business management acumen
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek languages
• Good knowledge of the French language
• Excellent computer literacy 

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
