Advance Career, on behalf of our clients, a group of companies in Paphos, is seeking to recruit a Chief Accountant;

Responsibilities:

• Responsible of monthly and yearly closing processes.
• Responsible for accurate and timely document management.
• Preparation and presentation of monthly and yearly Financial Statements and Management Accounts.
• Coordinate and communicate with external auditors.
• Provide high quality service to internal and external clients.
• Implement and maintain group accounting procedures, standards and processes.
• Guide and manage accounting department.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Ensure timely recording of incoming and outgoing accounting transactions.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal controls.

Qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting position. Experience in higher accounting positions will be considered as an advantage.
• Fluency in Greek and English both written and oral.
• Computer literate with experience of MS Office.
• Ethical, trustworthy, reliable, discreet and individual.
• Dynamic, results-oriented, self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Must be able to work individually as well as as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to take up new challenges and opportunities.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
