Our client is an international company and they are the world's largest supplier of made to order oil paintings and they are looking for a Shopify Developer to join their Cyprus based team in Limassol.

Responsibilities:

• Developing both front and back-end of Shopify stores on an on-going basis
• Implementing new stores on the Shopify platform and Shopify Plus platform.
• Conducting site performance and speed-optimisation reviews on a regular basis.
• Building responsive Shopify Plus sites from PSDs and Sketch Files. 
• Developing new Shopify Plus templates and features. 
• Extending Shopify's native functionalities. 
• Iterative website improvements.
• Implementing SEO, CRO and site speed best practices.
• Supporting business users with the various systems we use.
• Suggesting any improvements, apps and plug-ins our shops might need.
• Participating in project meetings to give feedback on technical requirements.
• Communicating internally to keep us updated on a task's progress, where necessary.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Shopify and web development.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Shopify template, debugging and front-end skills.
• Experience with JavaScript libraries like jQuery.
• The ability to write clean theme code and add or debug JavaScript.
• Proven experience of extending Shopify's functionalities, e.g. using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc.
• A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and WAI guidelines.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• A problem solver that proposes creative solutions, educating themself where necessary.
• A passionate, self-starter, able to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
