Job Description

  • To work closely with all departments and to advise line managers and staff members on HR procedures
  • To be responsible for the selection and recruitment process and to advise managers on any related matters
  • To oversee and carry out induction training for new recruits and assist with their introduction to the department
  • To define the learning strategy of the Company, to organize internal and/or external training, and to be responsible for the training and development process for all staff
  • To oversee and provide guidance and advice to managers on grievance, attendance, disciplinary, and performance issues
  • To review and investigate employee complaints and take appropriate action
  • To keep up to date information regarding developments in HR practices and employment legislation and to share this knowledge with the management
  • To undertake exit interviews for staff leaving the Company, investigate reasons where necessary, and to arrange for full and final settlement of pending matters
  • To develop, review, and revise HR policies, procedures, and manuals in compliance with changing or new legislation
  • To maintain Job Descriptions up to date for all departments and employees
  • To ensure the maintenance of all payroll data and provide accurate and timely payroll actions information to the Accounts Manager
  • To administer and keep records as regards any compensation and benefits offered to staff members
  • To evaluate employee satisfaction and present information to management to take relevant action
  • To guide and advise managers on performance management and to monitor productivity results, the setting of targets and coaching of staff for improved results
  • To review and authorize work schedules of staff – including the planning of annual leave, sick leave management, ad-hoc requests
  • To review and authorize expense claim forms and allowances, such as traveling, mobile phones, and vehicle expenses
  • To prepare, own, and manage the HR strategy/goals and key performance indicators and to be responsible for the HR budget
  • To participate in management meetings and support the top management

Your profile

  • Bachelors’ degree in Law or HR
  • 2 years in HR or related field
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills in Greek and English
  • Effective written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies, and procedures
  • Confident in leading group conversations
  • Team building and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of employment legislation, Company policies, and procedures
  • Keen to complete tasks in an orderly way
  • Adherence to deadlines
  • Effective time management skills
  • Team player (communication and interpersonal skills)
