CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting Services to both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a highly capable and self-motivated Client Accountant to join their expanding team of professionals based in Larnaca. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience and be fluent in both Greek and English.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping of client’s transactions.
• Maintain proper books and records for clients.
• Preparation of VAT returns and handle VAT issues.
• Preparation of payroll and social contribution payments/compliance.
• Preparation of tax returns (income tax, defence tax).
• Provide financial information and other reports to the clients.
• Liaise with tax authorities and banks for clients affairs.
• Reporting results of work performed to Director/Manager.

Key Skills/Experience:

• University degree with grade 2:1 or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Holder of or be in the process of pursuing a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA) would be considered an advantage.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in VAT laws, regulations and circulars.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in social insurance contributions laws and payroll administration.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken), fluent knowledge of the Russian language would be considered an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
