Job Description

• Collecting, processing and cleansing raw data from a wide variety of sources
• Identifying, generating, and selecting modeling features from various datasets
• Training, building, cross-validating and back-testing machine learning models to meet business goals
• Analysing, evaluating and comparing performance results from model execution
• Analysing datasets by using a variety of statistical and machine learning techniques
• Independently researching and proposing alternatives
• Communicating results and giving context
• Documenting approach and techniques used
• Assistance with the current needs of the team

Your Profile

• MSc or PhD in a quantitative discipline including Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or similar BSc with working experience in a highly quantitative position
• Strong ability to develop and debug in a programming language
• Minimum of 2 years of academic or working experience in algorithm design, modeling, or quantitative analysis
• Minimum of 2 years of academic or working experience implementing data science and machine learning projects
• Experience in applying statistical methodology to solve business problems; appropriately interpreting meaning from results
• Experience in SQL, ability to write SQL queries to efficiently extract data from relational databases
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as a team
• Professional with ability to properly handle confidential information
