POST-DOCTORAL SCIENTIST INVESTIGATING MOLECULAR PATHWAYS IN CANCER

The CSHM is seeking to hire a highly motivated and proactive Postdoctoral Scientist with expertise in genome editing for investigation of molecular pathways implicated in malignancies and discovery of new therapeutic targets. This individual will be a key contributor in the design, execution and interpretation of studies for the delineation of key pathways and potential drug targets in hematological and other malignancies.

Required Qualifications: Applicants should hold a PhD degree in Molecular, Cellular Biology, or related field. The successful candidate will utilize and develop cutting-edge cell culture techniques and CR1SPR-Cas9 technology, analysis of NGS data, flow cytometry, cell culture and genetic screens, as well as computing experience sufficient to run bioinformatics packages will be preferred. They must also be a creative/independent thinker, with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time position with a one-year contract , renewable for another two years.
