The Center for the Study of Hematological Malignancies is seeking to hire a qualified scientist for the position of a Research Assistant.  As a research assistant, you will perform varous cellular assays and cell culture tehcniques with cell lines and primary human cells.  You will need to keep a detailed laboratory notebook, electronic database and work to meet deadlines.  You will be working with a team of experienced post-doctoral research scientists.

Required Qualifications: 

• Applicants should hold a BSc and Master Degree in Molecular or Cell Biology/equivalent experience in molecular and cell biology. 
• The candidate must also be a creativie/independent thinker, with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. 
• Previous work experience with cell line and/or primary cell cultures and co-cultures, preparation of DNA and RNA libraries for Next Generation Sequencing, gene editing using CRISPR-Cas9 technology, as well as experience with immune-based techniques will be considered an advantage.
