Project Coordinator

Job Overview

Cablenet Communication Systems Ltd seeks to recruit a Project Coordinator to be a part of our team in Nicosia. The ideal candidate will be responsible of the effective management of all designated projects and their associated schedules and/or budgets, including coordinating all deliverables and requirements of the entire cross-functional project team. Ensure all projects are completed according to the underlying contract/scope. Ensure that the Project Management Officer is aware of issues that will impact timely project completion or cost, and pro-actively seek to identify and communicate any schedule and budget risks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Full management (end to end) of assigned projects, from initiation to finish, interactive with all stakeholders.
• Drive the successful delivery of simultaneous projects and initiatives.
• Create, manage and maintain, a project management plan, including interrelated plans (i.e. Risk Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, Stakeholders Communication Plan, Key Milestones, Critical Success Factors, etc.)
• Control and monitor the project including project finances, if required, to ensure efficient delivery, adhering to the business case.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Execute appropriate project governance and reporting.
• Effectively engage and manage subcontractors/partners, focusing on strong delivery capability and cost efficiency opportunities for the project.
• Ensure that the projects are managed in accordance with Company’s methods, policies and procedures.
• Effective working relationships with colleagues and with third parties to gain their commitment, support and resource to deliver project work.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• University Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Technology or other related field
• A project management qualification will be considered an advantage (i.e. PMP, Prince2).
• At least 3 years in Telecom Industry, with expertise in IT and/or Network related projects/areas.
• Use of project management tool will be considered an advantage (i.e. MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
• Have good organizational and time management skills and be able to manage own workload effectively and multitask when required.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Focus on adding value.
• Be a team player that is comfortable working in a close-knit team and building strong professional relationships, but be able to work independently where necessary to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Must have a persistent approach to problem solving, constantly motivated for effective solution.
• Driving license is required.
