This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who seeks a position in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have the overall responsibility of the accounting function at Logicom Solutions, a subsidiary of Logicom Group.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation and supervise the accounting department, purchase department and stores.
• Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Handle VAT and Tax issues.
• Handle the credit control function and provide support in customer collection, where needed.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and cash flows.
• Liaise with ERP support team and ensure functionality of the system.
• Liaise with external associates such as auditors, banks, clients etc.
• Set up or improve existing procedures and controls.
• Work closely and provide relevant support to other departmental managers.

Qualifications and Skills:

• University degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities in the industry is a must.
• Member of a Professional Accounting body (ACA/ ACCA/CPA).
• Working experience with Navision will be considered an advantage.
• Strong business and commercial awareness.
• Dynamic, hands on and results driven.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Very good analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and in particularly Excel.
• Fluent in English.
